While blonde is always my favorite, sometimes I like to change up my hair a bit. Since going to the dark side like I did in 04 wasn’t going to happen, I figured a fun color like pink would work. These pink extensions are from Sephora and I think they are fab. It’s a fun change, without looking too much like a teenager.
It’s now the season where its perfectly acceptable to bring out your nautical style again. If you don’t happen to own your own boat (because everyone does, right?) it’s perfect for those summertime day-parties. Some quick tips for the look:
1. Don’t take it too literally- this means a sailor hat is completely unnecessary
2. Watch the Stripes- Keep your “stipe” item to a minimum, you don’t need a stripe top with stripe skirt. Just pick one.
3. DO include gold- Gold accessories are fabulous, add them here.
This May has had a lot of “April Showers” so far, so I like to brighten up dark days with fun boots and trenches. My go-to outfit is usually my Burberry rainboots and Express Trench. Some of my favorite rainy day picks are below.
If theres one item I can’t have enough of, it would be hangbags. I fell in love with these cute little shoulder bags i’ve found, and wanted to post some of my favorites. At least they won’t take up too much closet space. I would wear one of the bright ones to add some color to an outfit.
I must say I had not owned a pleated skirt in YEARS. But lately I’ve seen some really cute pleated skirts out, and I had to get one myself. On the weekends you can wear it with a cute fun top, or for work, wear it with a button up. The one I’m wearing is from American Apparel, but I’ve put some more options below.
Sometimes buying presents for yourself is absolutely necessary. I’ve always loved Chanel, especially their handbags, and did not have one in my collection yet – so I decided to change that this past weekend. My birthday was a few weeks ago, so i’m calling it a belated gift to myself. Luckily for me, Chanel matches with everything =)

My look for the weekend on my trip out to a street fair I went to. It was a perfect day for bright colors so I tried out some color-blocking. I personally love mixing with pinks and blues, but if you want to keep it more simple just pair with black or white. I have more color blocked picks below.
